Privacy Policy
Our commitment to privacy
Your privacy is important to us. This notice explains what personal data Redash Group collects through this website and in the course of our work, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have.
It sets out how we protect your data in line with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and current Irish and EU law, through appropriate organisational and technical measures.
Redash Group reserves the right to change this statement as necessary. Where a change alters a key aspect of this notice or its meaning, we will say so on this page. We encourage you to review it occasionally.
If you go on to engage us for a service, we will agree the scope of that work with you separately in writing, and the purposes for which we collect and process your data in connection with it will be set out there.
1. How we collect personal data
Most of the personal data we hold about you is data you have given us directly — by completing a form on this website, emailing or calling us, or in the course of us providing corporate finance, funding or M&A advisory services to you or your business.
This website has two forms: the enquiry form in the page footer and the form on our contact page. Both ask for your name and email address, and optionally your phone number, company name and a description of what you need. You do not have to give us anything beyond what a form marks as required.
When we collect data from you we will ensure it is adequate for the purpose and never excessive.
2. How we use your personal data
- Responding to your enquiry — to reply to you, and to discuss whether and how we can help. This is the main reason anyone’s data reaches us through this site.
- Providing our services — where you become a client, to deliver the corporate finance, funding or advisory work we have agreed, and to claim our right to be paid for it.
- Keeping in touch — we may send occasional updates about our services. We will only do so where you have given consent or where we have a legitimate interest in contacting you as an existing client, and every such message contains a way to opt out.
- Understanding how the website is used — in aggregate, to see which pages are useful and improve them. See section 6 on cookies.
- Meeting legal obligations — the law can require disclosure of information for various reasons, and in those circumstances we must comply.
3. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who process it on our behalf, and only so far as they need it:
- HubSpot — our customer relationship management and marketing platform. Enquiries submitted through this website’s forms are delivered into HubSpot, and HubSpot also provides the website analytics described in section 6. Data is held in HubSpot’s EU region.
- Google — Google Analytics, for aggregate website statistics.
- Cloudflare — hosting and delivery of this website.
- Professional and financial contacts — where you engage us and it is necessary to progress your instructions, we may introduce you to lenders, investors or other advisers. We will discuss that with you first.
Outside the EEA, privacy law may not be equivalent to the GDPR. Where data is transferred outside the EEA, we and our processors continue to handle it as described here and rely on appropriate safeguards.
4. Protecting your data
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, both in transit and at rest, and review them so they remain effective. This website is served over HTTPS.
5. How long we keep it
We keep enquiry data for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you come back to us. Where you become a client, we retain records for the period required by Irish and EU law and regulation. Where we hold data on the basis of your consent, that consent expires after five years unless renewed, and you can withdraw it sooner.
6. Cookies and analytics
A cookie is a small piece of data a website asks your browser to store, so the site can recognise your browser on a later page or visit. This website sets the following:
| Cookie | Set by | Purpose | Expires |
|---|---|---|---|
_ga, _ga_<id> | Google Analytics | Distinguishes visitors and sessions to produce aggregate usage statistics. | About 14 months |
hubspotutk, __hstc, __hssc, __hssrc | HubSpot | Recognises returning visitors, and links a form submission to the pages that led to it. | Up to 6 months; two are session-only |
__cf_bm | Cloudflare | Distinguishes humans from bots on the services above, so their forms and scripts work. Strictly necessary. | 30 minutes |
We also use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-focused analytics tool we host ourselves. It sets no cookies, stores no personal data and does not track anyone across websites.
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking them will not stop you using this website, though some functions may behave differently.
7. Social media and links to other sites
This website links to other websites we do not control. Once you follow such a link, this policy no longer applies, and we encourage you to read the privacy notice of any site before giving it personal data. Where you interact with us through a social media platform, that platform’s own privacy policy governs what it collects.
8. Children
Our services are for businesses, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If a child under 16 does provide data, we will seek consent from a parent or guardian, or delete it.
9. Categories of data we hold
- Identity data — name and job title.
- Contact data — email address, telephone number, company name and postal address.
- Enquiry data — what you tell us about your business and what you need from us.
- Technical data — IP address, browser type and the pages you view on this site.
10. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right:
- to access the personal data we hold about you;
- to have it corrected or updated;
- to have it erased;
- to restrict or object to how we process it;
- to data portability;
- to withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent;
- to lodge a complaint with the Irish Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie).
To exercise any of these, contact us using the details below.
11. Contact
